Last Friday marked my final day at Institute for Global Food Security, Queen’s University Belfast, after almost 10 years. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities, collaborations, mentorship, friendships, and support I've experienced during my time at QUB. It has been a privilege to work alongside so many talented colleagues and students, and I would like to thank everyone who has been part of my journey over the past decade. I'm excited to begin a new chapter as Lecturer in Livestock Science at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity, and I'm looking forward to the challenges, collaborations, and experiences that lie ahead. While I'm moving on to a new role, I'm pleased to be continuing my connection with QUB as a Visiting Scholar. It's a big world for the kid from Essex, but I'm excited to see where this next chapter leads.
