🌲 How is climate change reshaping our forests — and how can science help us understand what comes next? In a future defined by shifting climate patterns, we don’t yet know which tree species will thrive and which will struggle. At LIST, we’re expanding the same scientific rigour that has guided decades of water monitoring to now observe, analyse, and understand our forests in unprecedented ways. 🎥 In this video, Richard Keim highlights how catchment and eco-hydrology research at LIST is helping us answer some of the most urgent questions for forest and water managers across Luxembourg and the Greater Region. This work connects directly to FORLUX, our flagship initiative dedicated to developing a national forest health monitoring system and delivering new insights 👉 https://lnkd.in/eaSfB5Qm These scientific efforts align closely with another campaign where art and science come together to tell the story of climate-stressed forests. In a series of intricate cardboard landscapes, artist Ben Carter visualises the delicate systems that sustain our woodlands 👉https://lnkd.in/gvqsTjBR #climatechange #ForestManagement #SustainableForestry #FORLUX #EcosystemMonitoring Laurent Pfister | Stan Schymanski | Christophe Hissler | Ministère de l'Environnement, du Climat et de la Biodiversité | Ville de Luxembourg
