We are excited to support the inclusion of Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders as a new focus area for the ODIN - Open Discovery Innovation Network (ODIN). ODIN facilitates the co-creation of novel research projects and provides funding for the academic part of joint initiatives between academia and partners from the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.   “Our ambition in joining ODIN is to leverage pre-competitive co-creation across academia and industry to accelerate the early-phase development of new therapies and diagnostics. We have already seen promising results from ongoing ODIN projects, and we are therefore very excited to broaden its scope to include CNS – the Lundbeck Foundation’s focus area”, Line V. Kristensen, Senior Scientific Programme Manager at the Lundbeck Foundation.   The addition of CNS aligns closely with the Lundbeck Foundation’s purpose of Bringing Discoveries to Lives and expands on ODIN’s current scientific scope, encompassing major disease areas alongside disease-agnostic platform technologies and research tools with potential for broad impact across major global health challenges.   Application deadline is April 29, 2026 - 13:00 CET.
