Our documentary "Artificial Intelligence: From Mind to Machine" has just been recognised with another award, this time in the category Documentaries - Science and Technology from US International Awards https://lnkd.in/erFdScQ6 The film was made in conjunction with the 2024 Brain Prize which was awarded for pioneering work in the field of computational and theoretical neuroscience- a field of research which laid the foundations for the development of AI. The documentary charts the progression of AI from artificial neural networks to today's AI revolution. The film also documents how AI is being used in conjunction with brain-machine interfaces to help people living with devastating diseases of the nervous system. The impact on people's lives is both enormous and deeply moving. Communicating about the prize-wining science is at the heart of what we do at The Brain Prize. The impact of this communication is amplified enormously if it is compelling, moving and tells a story. Thank you to Kasper Bielefeldt, Maria Winther, Mark Renouf (he/him) and Tom Canning from Creature Film Agency for making it happen.
