Nominations for The Brain Prize 2027 now being accepted! The Brain Prize is the world’s largest prize for neuroscience. It is awarded each year by the Lundbeck Foundation. It recognises and celebrates highly original and groundbreaking advances in any area of neuroscience, from basic to applied clinical research. Since it was first awarded in 2011, The Brain Prize has recognised 51 scientists from 11 different countries. Active researchers of any nationality and working in any country are eligible. Only candidates who are nominated by others will be considered for The Brain Prize and anyone (yes anyone!) can nominate. The call for nominations is now open and will close on 1 September 2026. The nomination form is short and straightforward to complete.
