You didn’t become an Intellectual Property expert to manually track infringements all day. Tracking online infringement across clients is repetitive, time-consuming, and difficult to scale. So in many cases, it’s simply not done consistently — or not offered as a service at all. And that often means you are missing potential new work with existing clients supporting them in their business, and there is the real VALUE of automated monitoring on online IPR infringement. Monitoring is usually manual: - checking marketplaces for unauthorized listings - searching brand names on Google and reviewing ads - scanning social media for misuse - revisiting the same platforms again and again. With multiple clients, it is really difficult to maintain consistency and proper coverage. As a result, monitoring is often done occasionally rather than continuously, and usually only when a client raises a concern. And many infringements remain UNDETECTED. This creates a clear business gap: MISSED enforcement OPPORTUNITIES, and less space for PROACTIVE advisory work. When monitoring becomes structured, the role shifts. IP professionals can detect issues earlier, expand coverage without increasing workload, and engage clients based on real, identified risks.
