The successful restoration of the historic Muzhiyan Kulam Pond in Pooranankuppam, Puducherry, was formally inaugurated on 26 June 2026 by the Hon'ble Union Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. The ceremony was attended by several distinguished dignitaries. The event marked a significant milestone in community-led environmental conservation. It also celebrated the collective efforts of the government, local stakeholders, and corporate partners working together to restore a vital community resource. In recognition of its contribution to the restoration, Lumina Datamatics was invited to participate in the inauguration ceremony. The occasion celebrated the revival of a vital community resource while underscoring the power of collaboration in advancing environmental sustainability and community development.
