Lumetta's Ambient Drum Lighting Illuminates St. Louis Arc’s Office and Community Center ________ St. Louis Arc, a healthcare facility located in Creve Couer, Mo. determined it was time to renovate and made the decision to retrofit their Office and Community Center into an all-inclusive space that would empower the organizations’ growing population. The agency hired Architect and Interior Design team Oculus, Inc. to upgrade their offices to a bright and modern environment. Lighting was the main concern when it came to the transformation of the space. Softer illumination levels of light were diffused throughout the space with the use of high ceiling fixtures, recessed task and area lighting, and pendant lighting to create scale. The agency specified 2 of Lumetta’s highly regarded LED, low VOC 23” Drum Pendants with D 183 Whitewash Lumenate® diffusers for ambient lighting in front of the large TV, creating a warm and inviting environment for clients and their families to sit together. The multi-functional space has now become a very popular setting and offers learning and support services for seniors with intellectual or developmental disabilities in the St. Louis area.
