It was sealed in glass globe and lasted 10 times longer than earlier carbon arc lamps. 1893 Nikola Tesla offers his ideas on high frequency and wireless electric lighting, including his public demonstrations where a Geissler tube was lit wirelessly. 1894 The Moore tube, a precursor of the electric gas discharge lamps, is created by D.
