Yesterday evening, I had the pleasure of joining the first 2026 event of Talk.Connect.Grow on “Female Leadership in Sustainability.” 🌿✨ As a MIBAS alumna and mentor in the Talk.Connect.Grow network, I was very happy to be part of this conversation and to share some practical insights from Women4Metals — an initiative founded by female Aurubis employees to support women in the metals industry and to help create fairer conditions, greater visibility, and stronger networks in a still very male-dominated sector. ⛏️🤝 For me, these conversations matter because female leadership in sustainability is not just about individual career paths. It is also about structures, visibility, allyship, and making sure that industries in transition become places where diverse talent can thrive. A special shoutout to Isabel Henning for her very interesting theoretical input on female leadership, which added an important perspective to the discussion. And thank you to Theresa Frank and Ann-Kathrin L. for the great organization of the event and for creating this space for open and honest exchange. 🙌 I’m glad to see networks like Talk.Connect.Grow bringing together students, alumni, and practitioners to learn from each other and grow together. #FemaleLeadership #Sustainability #MIBAS #TalkConnectGrow #Women4Metals
