Taylor's series It is a clever method to approximate a complex curve or function using simple parts. You select one point on the curve as your starting reference. Then you measure how high it is at that point, how steep it is, how much it bends, and so on. You combine these components, starting with a flat value, then a straight slope, then a curve, and more, to recreate the original shape. The closer you are to your chosen point, the better the fit. This approach helps scientists and engineers easily calculate and predict things like force at different displacements without having to solve difficult problems each time.
