Let’s celebrate 7️⃣0️⃣ years of Lufthansa Technik apprenticeship! 🛠️✈️ For 70 years, apprenticeship at Lufthansa Technik has been about much more than developing technical skills. It is about passing on knowledge, inspiring a passion for aviation and creating connections that can last for generations. At our anniversary event in Hamburg, apprentices, former apprentices, colleagues and guests came together to celebrate this special milestone. Through personal stories, panel perspectives and hands-on insights into aircraft technology, the celebration made the past, present and future of apprenticeship tangible. One of the voices in the video is Jürgen Wiermann, who started his apprenticeship in 1956. He looks back on how different training was at the time, long before the digital tools we use today, and shares how special this chapter was for him. Even after all these years, he still feels closely connected to Lufthansa Technik.
