Our trainees Johanna Grießer and Linus Esch from ProTeam Generation 39 recently had a unique experience during their project abroad in Seoul ✈️, joining a full Lufthansa Cargo freighter turnaround at Incheon International Airport and seeing the cargo operation up close. Cargo does not sleep 🌙. In Seoul, freighter operations run entirely at night, and so did this one. After preparations in the evening at the airport office and a visit to the warehouse, the two headed to the ramp just before midnight to see the 777F arrive from Tokyo Narita. From there they joined the loading process and took part in the outside check with the flight crew 🔧. Being on the ramp at night and experiencing this highly coordinated operation firsthand is something few people get to see 👀 and one that leaves a lasting impression.
