Pride Take-Off 2026: True stance is a 365-day commitment! 🌈🤝🏳️‍🌈 What an incredible evening of connection, dialogue, and community! Hosted by Lufthansa Group’s queer employee network #Diversifly, this year’s Pride Take-Off was the largest in our history. Over 100 guests - including Lufthansa Group colleagues and allies from Commerzbank, Kyndryl, Deutsche Bank, EY, Telekom, Police Hessen, Deutsche Bahn and many more - gathered at the spectacular new Lufthansa Group Hangar One in Frankfurt. The event, hosted by Lukas Braun (local Diversifly spokesperson) alongside network spokespersons Calli Flothmann and Fabian Kieper, focused on driving cross-company collaboration and keeping queer visibility on the agenda year-round. At the heart of the event was a crucial topic: how to take a true stance 365 days a year - even when Pride season is over or budgets are tight. Astrid Neben (CHRO Lufthansa Airlines, Human Rights Officer Lufthansa Group, and long-standing patroness of Diversifly) powerfully put it: 💬 “True allyship is shown when we stand up for diversity – also AND especially where it is challenging.” This sentiment was echoed in an inspiring panel discussion featuring Astrid Neben, Ermir Blum (dbPride / Deutsche Bank), Stefan Aigner (railbow / Deutsche Bahn), and Fabian Kieper (Diversifly). The consensus? Now more than ever, we must stand up for each other, remain visible, use our voices, and never give up pushing forward. Gathering in Hangar One, surrounded by icons of our 100-year aviation history like the Junkers Ju 52 and Lockheed Super Star, one thing became beautiful clear: diversity and inclusion have an equally permanent and vital place in our journey. ✈️🌈 Thank you to all participants and partners for raising your voices and standing up for the good cause.
