International Project Manager - Learning and Development - Custom Programs - Executive Education

Last Saturday the Volkswagen Financial Services General Management program came to an end at HEC Paris Executive Education but to me it feels more like the beginning of a great partnership. It is rare to see such an engaged and committed group of participants, with so much leadership experience to share, and so much energy to contribute to their peers and to our teaching faculty, even after 6 days straight, and a double portion of tiramisu! 💪🏻⚡️ After a meticulous analysis of their key-takeaway post-its ;) - here are just a few learnings from an intense week covering decision-making under uncertainty, megatrends and strategic foresight, digital transformation strategies, change management and agile leadership: ✅If you are running, you have made, or are about to make a mistake! ✅The decison making process matters as much as (if not more than) the decision itself. ✅Think big, start small - but get started! ✅It takes 2 people to start a revolution. ✅Rebuild your business from time to time. ✨and of course, always synchronize a Seine dinner cruise with the Eiffel Tower’s sparkling agenda ;)✨ 🙏I would like to thank our academic director Shirish C. Srivastava, profs Jeremy Ghez, Matt Mulford, Mathis Schulte, @emmanuel coblence, Laurence Bret-Stern and the Mountain Path team for the quality of their teaching and being such a visible source of inspiration for our participants last week. 🙏A huge thanks to Franziska Paul and Virpi Spies for their trust and support during the program, and in the run-up. 🙏And big ❤️ to my colleagues Nour Kobeissi, Tapasya DAS, Elizabeth G., and Emmanuel Joujon who all played their part in making the program a success and the delivery experience a pleasure.
