Kicking off our School Spotlight series with Woldingham School. 🔦 We have worked with Woldingham School since 2019 to support the delivery of new and improved education, recreation and sports facilities on its beautiful Surrey Hills campus, as part of the school’s Masterplan. Our role has been to steer projects through the planning process – from providing initial guidance, seeking pre-application advice, and preparing and submitting applications, through to the discharge of planning conditions. The school is located within a National Landscape and the Green Belt, requiring sensitive and carefully considered planning strategies. Notably, our planning team secured planning permission for a new Library and Sixth Form in 2023. Designed by OSP Architecture, alongside Envoplan and SUNNINGHILL CONSTRUCTION CO. LIMITED and completed in 2025. The building brings the Upper Sixth and Lower Sixth together for the first time in a shared Sixth Form Centre with collaborative workspaces, flexible learning areas supported with cutting edge technology, a careers and university zone, and a café. The building also includes a welcoming modern library for the whole school community, and it was great to see the building being enjoyed at the opening celebrations. 🎉 #SchoolSpotlight #WoldinghamSchool #SchoolPlanning
