Our School Spotlight series continues with King's House School 🔦 We worked with King’s House School to secure planning permission for a major upgrade to its facilities, supporting the school’s vision for a high-quality learning environment. We delivered proposals to replace outdated buildings with modern, accessible and fit-for-purpose spaces. The scheme included six new classrooms, a dedicated arts block with music and drama facilities, and a refurbished sports hall. Alongside the buildings, we designed a new landscape that enhanced the conservation area whilst creating more opportunities for outdoor learning. The scheme also improved biodiversity, with new planting and 22 additional trees, delivering over 15% Biodiversity Net Gain. Sustainability was a key priority, with the buildings targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating and a substantial reduction in carbon emissions.
