Last Wednesday, I had the chance to join the inauguration of the Climeworks DAC Innovation Center in Zurich, now the world’s largest hub for next-generation direct air capture research and testing. Still inspired by this milestone and by the people who are bringing it to life. 🌍✨ What impressed me was the clarity of purpose surrounding this center : With 50M CHF invested, over 50 engineers, chemists, and technology experts working together, and 15 years of experience concentrated under one roof, Climeworks is creating an exceptional environment for accelerating innovation, driving cost reductions, and advancing real-world performance at speed. As someone who believes in aligned teams, clear purpose, and value-driven execution, seeing this in action was incredibly energizing. The contributions from André Hoffmann André Hoffmann (Roche), Clea Kaske-Kuck (WBCSD), Cyril Brunner (ETH Zürich), and Stefan Brupbacher (Swissmem) were remarkable. Their perspectives reflected ambition, collaboration, and concrete action, elements that always inspire me. This is how our climate transition advances: through courageous investment, multidisciplinary expertise for innovation, and clear purpose. #Climate #DAC #DCR #Innovation #CarbonRemoval #Sustainability Learn more about the center here: https://lnkd.in/eBxr9PhE
