35 jaar verkeerstoren Schiphol. Vandaag is het 35 jaar geleden dat onze iconische verkeerstoren werd geopend door koningin Beatrix. In die 35 jaar hebben onze luchtverkeersleiders vanuit de toren van alles gezien en meegemaakt. Van de brand tijdens de bouw tot de opening. Van records in het vliegverkeer tot de ongekende stilte tijdens corona. Van wereldleiders die landen op Schiphol tot de recente torenverbouwing en de plaatsing van de nieuwe radome. En van radio- en tv-uitzendingen tot onze eigen socials. Bij al die momenten houden zij het overzicht en zorgen ze ervoor dat het vliegverkeer in veilige handen is. Dag en nacht.
