What can a single matchday tell us about the identity of a neighborhood? 🏟️⚽️ I've just wrapped up this editorial and autonomous photography project documenting the encounter between Centre d'Esports L'Hospitalet and Club de Futbol Badalona. In a landscape where professional football moves toward an increasingly global and commercial experience, this work dives deep into the essence of a grassroots matchday: the closeness, the industrial memory of two cities, and the small gestures that make up the true atmosphere away from the elite spotlight. As I explored in the project's concept, focused on the experience of that single day: "The images accompanying this report do not seek to chronologically reconstruct the development of the match or document every goal-scoring chance. Their intention is different. They observe what normally remains outside the main frame..." 💡 In the project: Art direction and editorial design Autonomous matchday photography and portraits Layout construction and page grid design What do you think of the visual direction and the result of this matchday?
