🎥 What’s it like to be a part of the team engineering Singapore’s rail future? 🚆  Reiko and Choon Hock, both SGRail scholars, share what it’s like working behind the scenes of Singapore’s public transport system — and how engineering can make a real difference to everyday journeys.   💡 Driven by a love for problem-solving, Reiko was drawn to engineering — and to the SGRail Scholarship — for its unique exposure across both the public and private rail sectors. During her internship, she developed data visualisations for dynamic gauge monitoring, helping to streamline reporting and improve resource allocation, while gaining a holistic view of how rail systems are planned, designed and maintained.   💡 For Choon Hock, the scholarship was about making tangible impact. As a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, he gained hands-on experience with SBS Transit’s Rolling Stock Department (Downtown Line), deepening his understanding of train systems— and seeing firsthand how engineering decisions affect commuters every day.   Through the SGRail Industry Scholarship — a partnership between LTA, SBS Transit Ltd, and SMRT Corporation Ltd — these scholars gain exposure to both sides of the rail ecosystem, shaping careers that help keep Singapore moving.     👉 Watch the full video: https://lnkd.in/gyk2ayEU   🎓 Curious about engineering, transport, or a career in technology and infrastructure?  Apply for the SGRail Scholarship now! https://lnkd.in/g34HPJhg  #SGRail #SGRailIndustryScholarship
