From Grammy-winning records to the Bluff šŸŽ¶ Khris Riddick-Tynes ’13, J.D. ’22 has spent his career helping shape music alongside artists like Ariana Grande, SZA, Drake, Kehlani, and Toni Braxton. Now, he's bringing that experience back to LMU. Working alongside Professor Marne Campbell and a growing network of LMU students and alumni, Riddick-Tynes is helping create new pathways into the music industry through mentorship, internships, and a new interdisciplinary music course open to all students. The results are already showing, with LMU students and alumni earning opportunities to contribute to major projects. Ashton Norful and Ryan Jenkins both worked on Kehlani's self-titled fifth studio album, with Norful producing three of its tracks and Jenkins serving as an A&R on the project. From the recording studio to the classroom, this is what experiential learning looks like. šŸ¦šŸŽµ
