75 years of BPI – Congratulations! 🎉 Our team is attending the anniversary event of the Bundesverband der Pharmazeutischen Industrie (BPI) in Berlin today to exchange views with representatives from politics, business and the healthcare sector. 👏🏼 There is currently a great deal of discussion about security of supply and crisis resilience. But ultimately, political plans only work if the supply chains behind the scenes run smoothly. A glance at the programme shows that the most pressing issues facing the pharmaceutical industry directly affect our work in contract logistics: ⏩ The upcoming Future Lab will examine the key factors shaping the coming decade. For us, this means proactively adapting logistics infrastructures to new forms of supply. ⏩ The planned session on supply security touches on the very heart of our work. Rigid structures in logistics must be broken down and highly flexible storage space made available to mitigate bottlenecks. ⏩ Tomorrow, Dr. Thomas de Maizière’s keynote on state reform will provide further important impetus. Streamlined administrative processes are precisely what ultimately accelerates the physical supply chain as well.
