Every statistic has a face behind it. This World Health Day, we wanted to look at Pakistan's health system — not through headlines, but through data. Here's what the numbers say: → 1 doctor for roughly every 1,000 Pakistanis → Less than 1 hospital bed per 1,000 people → Nearly 8 in 10 Pakistanis pay for healthcare entirely on their own → A child born in Pakistan is nearly twice as likely to die before age 5 compared to the regional average These aren't just statistics. They represent delayed diagnoses, overwhelmed doctors, families pushed into debt by medical bills, and preventable deaths. And a large part of what makes this so hard to fix? The data systems that should be guiding decisions — the disease surveillance, the resource tracking, the patient records — are fragmented, underfunded, or simply don't exist. You can't solve what you can't see. At Love For Data, we think about this a lot. Because the same data skills we apply in business can — and should — serve the public good. 📊 We've put together an infographic with the key numbers. Have a look, and share it if it resonates. #WorldHealthDay #Pakistan #DataForGood #LoveForData #HealthcareData #PublicHealth
