Ileana Artist Spotlight: Brian Nevins Brian Nevins and I have experienced some of the deepest laughter and tears together working, walking and talking all over, but especially in the Nicaraguan trash dumps. We’ve endured and captured some of the heaviest things I’ve ever witnessed in my life, we’ve caught waves, we’ve grieved, and we’ve danced with kiddos on our shoulders together believing hope and love always win. He’s as generous with his camera as anyone I know, and he shoots before you even realize that he was there. Usually you just hear his laughter as he’s 7 steps ahead seeing the world as it should be while capturing what it actually is.
