International Relations Student at St Chad’s College - Durham University

I am pleased to share that I have graduated from Durham University with an upper second class honours degree in International Relations! 🎓 I was only 17 when I moved from France to England to start university. Stepping into a new country alone was a massive leap into the unknown, but it pushed me to grow in many different ways. Beyond my studies, holding different positions within St Chad’s College’s Junior Common Room allowed me to truly immerse myself in university life and give back to the student body. A major highlight of my degree was completing my dissertation: “From ‘Never Again’ to ‘Yet Again’: Assessing the Role of Holocaust Memory in Shaping International Responses to Rwanda and Bosnia.” Researching how historical narratives shape modern global decisions was incredibly fulfilling, and it truly solidified my interest in global affairs. I am incredibly grateful to the academic staff, my friends, my family, and the wider community at St Chad's College, Durham University for their unwavering support over the last three years. You made a foreign country feel like a home away from home. That being said, my Durham journey doesn’t end here! I am thrilled to be staying at Durham University to begin an MSc in International Business. I look forward to combining the global perspective from my first degree with the world of international politics, economics, and business. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this chapter! Now, onto the next! ✨
