*HOMETOWN EATS* No…you didn’t just stumble onto the set of an old Western movie on Main Street in Clifton Forge, VA. What you found was one of the most unique food wagons you might ever come across with some of the biggest burgers you can shake a stick at! The Rusty Skillet was meant to be a weekend hobby for the Fridleys (who once owned Maw & Paws in Eagle Rock for decades) but what it turned into was much more than they ever expected. People CAN’T GET ENOUGH! Once you try it, you’ll understand why they’re lining up, rain or shine, to get a bite. Full disclosure, the wagon is for sale on Marketplace. Why? The very same reason they had to sell Maw & Paws. Doctor’s orders as Randall battles ongoing health issues…BUT Stephanie said they have no plans to shut down or leave anytime soon. They just want the option for someone to buy and take over the business. Until then, get up to Clifton Forge an hopefully that Moonshine Burger is on the menu that day. It’ll make a cowboy blush. Tell em Logan sent ya! The Rusty Skillet Food Wagon is located at 615 Main Street in Clifton Forge, VA 24422. They don’t have set hours but are open most weekdays from 10am to 2pm. The best way to keep up with their schedule is to follow their Facebook page.
