We are delighted to congratulate Matthew Wilson on being awarded an MBE in The King’s Birthday Honours.   Matthew is a hugely respected figure across the Lloyd’s market, having held roles as CEO of Brit Insurance and advisor to Lloyd’s Council, providing expert input to its committees and Underwriting Advisory Panel.   Since his diagnosis with multiple myeloma in 2021, Matthew has demonstrated extraordinary courage and generosity – personally raising over £7 million for Blood Cancer UK through the Matthew Wilson Multiple Myeloma Fund, while also serving chair of the charity.   The recognition is greatly deserved, and a testament to Matthew’s remarkable dedication to turning personal adversity into lasting impact for others.   #LloydsPeople #CharityFundraising #BirthdayHonours
