Who owns learning and development in your business? L&D right???? And yet many Senior Leaders and Business owners are left wondering why the expensive Leadership Training course hasn't changed their culture or made the impact they were looking for. In my experience there needs to be a level of commitment from the business to own the continuation of learning for everyone. Recently, I have been working with a local business to enhance their learning culture and it is interesting and exciting how quickly a culture can begin to shift in the intended direction. There are both short and long term approaches that can be adopted. Here are five questions I have taken from ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฎ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ข๐ฟ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป-Peter Senge,ย that could help you understand your Learning Culture within your Organisation. As a leader, are you modelling growth and self development, or expecting it from others without doing the same? What beliefs or past experiences might be shaping your decisions without you even realising it? Have you clearly communicated where the business is going in a way your people genuinely connect with? Are you creating an environment where your team feels safe to challenge, contribute and learn together? When challenges arise, are you reacting to symptoms or stepping back to understand the bigger picture? Being able to start a discussion within your teams can open up opportunities for growth, engagement and retain your top talent. #talent #organisation #leadership #development #training
