What is Authentic Leadership? I'm sure you have heard this Leadership style referenced quite alot recently but do we really understand what the style represents, why it is effective in delivering results and what it doesn't mean. We all have our own interpretations of Authenticity which comes from our beliefs, values and behaviours and the organisation we work in. 1.Many leaders see total transparency as the gold standard. But without context, it can create more noise than clarity. The real skill is linking the message to why it matters for the team and the bigger picture. 2.Being open and vulnerable builds respect, trust and a stronger commitment to results. The real impact comes from knowing when and where to share your values and behaviours so they land in the right way. 3.Being a role model for your team delivers results and helps to build leaders for the future talent in your organisation. 4.Consistency wins hearts and minds every time. Delivering consistently builds respect, strengthens trust, and gives people the confidence to rely on you when it matters most. ππππ΅π²π»ππΆπ°πΆππ + π¦πΈπΆπΉπΉ + πππ±π΄π²πΊπ²π»π [Goffee and Jones] β‘οΈΒ When authenticity, skill and judgement come together, people know what to expect from you. β‘οΈΒ That creates trust, builds credibility and gives teams the confidence to follow your lead. β‘οΈΒ Great leadership is not about saying the right things occasionally. It is about showing up in a way that is consistent, grounded and intentional. I cover this and many more Leadership Styles within my Coaching Programme that help you become a Stand Out Leader that drives results.
