LiveEO has secured ESA InCubed funding for Twinspector! A few weeks after announcing our Twinspector satellite constellation, we’re excited to share that the mission is now backed by the European Space Agency - ESA's InCubed programme with a seven-digit contract. Twinspector is purpose-built for monitoring critical infrastructure at scale. By combining formation flying with very high-resolution optical imaging, we enable: 🌳 accurate 3D vegetation analysis along power lines and railways 🛢️ Wide-area monitoring of pipelines to detect third-party risks With up to 35 cm resolution in stereo and flexible imaging modes, Twinspector closes a key gap in today’s Earth observation landscape: scalable, very high resolution monitoring of linear infrastructure networks. Through years of working with our key customers such DB InfraGO AG and E.ON SE, LiveEO has developed a deep understanding of the requirements for infrastructure monitoring, which directly shapes the design of the Twinspector mission. The mission is developed together with strong European partners: Reflex Aerospace (satellite platform), Kampf Telescope Optics GmbH (optical payload), and Engineering Minds Munich (electronics). Big thanks to ESA and the German Space Agency at DLR for supporting this next step. ESA’s InCubed programme, managed by ESA Earth Observation Φ-lab, supports commercial Earth observation innovation across Europe.
