LivaNova presented topline data today at SLEEP 2026 on an advanced PolySync™ simultaneous-contact simulation programming algorithm evaluated within the pivotal OSPREY trial for patients with moderate to severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). LivaNova's proximal hypoglossal nerve stimulation (pHGNS) therapy uses six electrodes placed on the proximal trunk of the hypoglossal nerve, offering broad and targetable access to the muscles controlling the airway. PolySync is an advanced programming algorithm that enables patient-specific optimization of pHGNS therapy by utilizing both individual- and simultaneous-contact stimulation. The OSPREY trial had a cumulative AHI response rate of 84.5% for patients whose pHGNS therapy was programmed using either individual or simultaneous-contact stimulation via the PolySync algorithm.
