This week, I had the opportunity to visit our Sandvik Ground Support team in Latin America and discuss opportunities and priorities across the region. A highlight was visiting our production facility in Guadalajara and meeting many of our fantastic colleagues. Our incoming President, Thomas Vallant, introduced himself to the team, shared his thoughts on the future, and answered some questions. The Guadalajara site plays an important part in producing ground support products that help improve safety and productivity in underground mining operations. I was also impressed by the strong representation of women throughout the facility. Seeing so many women performing demanding roles across the site was really cool. Their expertise, commitment, and engagement contribute greatly to the success of the operation and reflect the inclusive culture we continue to build across Sandvik Ground Support. Thank you to Carlos Leigh, Mateo Echeverri Arango and the entire team for all the preparation, the well-organized days, and the outstanding hospitality.
