Today is the launch of something I've devoted myself to over the last few months: Tokura. Here is why: Germany runs one of the most inpatient-heavy systems in Europe (meaning you stay in the hospital).  But around 60% (!) of these surgeries could be done outpatient (meaning you go home the same day). So Tokura is building what the system is missing: tech-enabled ambulatory surgery centers. One integrated system from first appointment to billing. Our mission: 1 million surgeries per year. Grateful to work on real systemic change and even better, to do it with this amazing team: Daniel, David, Gesa, Ferdinand (and more soon to be announced).
