⚙️ Engineering Learning in Action for Hull College What better way for engineering students to learn than by following the live delivery of an energy centre and district heating network right opposite their college! 🤝 Partnership in practice Vital Energi Utilities Limited and Hull City Council are partnering with Hull College helping bring classroom learning to life, giving students a real time insight into how major energy infrastructure is delivered. 🙌 Thank you A big thank you to Mike Worrall David Raley and James Abraham for sharing their insights into the project, their career journeys and how students studies lead to delivering energy schemes of this scale and also to Dylan Radford & Nicholas Marshall for helping with the day. We look forward to the next one next week! Nick Marshall, Head of Institute: “It was fantastic for our learners to visit such an important project within the city. Experiences like this help bring learning to life and provide real insight into future careers within engineering, electrical installation and sustainable technologies. We would like to thank Vital Energi Utilities Limited and the project team for supporting and inspiring our learners.” Dawn Brown Laura Raby-Anderson Paul Adams M.Ed Graham Gibson Michael Leslie Scott Poole #EngineeringEducation #SkillsForTheFuture #FutureEngineers #EnergyTransition #DistrictHeating #LowCarbon #NetZero #SustainableEnergy
