Project spotlight | BYD Zhengzhou   Last week, our Melbourne team proudly welcomed the BYD Zhengzhou on her maiden voyage to Australia. LINX discharged 1,855 vehicles at the Port of Melbourne on behalf BYD Australia & New Zealand, with the vessel continuing on to Port Kembla and Brisbane where our teams once again supported BYD’s operations.   Being selected to service this momentous vessel call reflects the strength of our automotive stevedoring capability and the confidence customers place in LINX to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable services at scale.   A unique feature of the operation was the coordination of discharge activities alongside BYD's vessel showcase event, which welcomed up to 200 guests onboard during active operations. The event offered guests a rare behind-the-scenes look at the precision, coordination and expertise required to safely deliver large-scale RoRo operations. Through detailed planning and seamless execution, the operation was completed safely and ahead of schedule while accommodating the event requirements.   The vessel’s modern, purpose-built design and efficient vehicle handling systems contributed to a smooth operation, supported by excellent collaboration between the vessel's crew and our stevedoring team.   Thank you to everyone involved for delivering another successful outcome for our customer.
