Henrik Pedersen researches the chemistry behind our modern, connected society. With a strong passion for increasing public understanding of why research matters, he is happy to leave his lab to meet both primary school students and TV viewers and explain difficult-to-grasp processes. “We need to demystify the scientist. People often think that if you’re a professor, you’re some oldish, half-crazy person who can’t be among people. This could be quite dangerous and create a distance to the research world.
