Lingotto is hiring a Founding AI Engineer. We're building an AI-enabled intelligence platform for investing - an integrated system designed to help investment teams capture, organize, search, and act on proprietary knowledge across the full research and decision-making process. Prior investing experience is not required. We’re looking for someone with strong backend and data engineering instincts, fluency with LLM APIs, retrieval systems, agentic workflows, and modern AI patterns, and excellent communication skills to work directly with investment professionals to understand their research, identify high-value use cases, and turn them into reliable internal products. Flexible location, with a preference for candidates based in or able to work closely with colleagues in New York or London.
