While everyone else is looking up at the striking facade, we're looking down at the floor. And for good reason. ☝🏼 #Valley Amsterdam is one of Europe's most remarkable high-rise developments: three interconnected towers designed by MVRDV, with terraced natural stone surfaces and vertical gardens right in the heart of the Zuidas. What most people don't see: across the office floors, 9,300 m² of our NORTEC #raisedfloor system ensure that the building meets the highest standards on the inside as well. The cavity beneath the floor keeps data cabling, power supply and building services accessible at all times, and allows them to be adapted flexibly to new ways of working. 🙌🏼 The robust calcium sulphate panels are also non-combustible, acoustically effective, and can contain up to 100 % recycled content. At the end of their service life, we take the panels back into the material cycle. All of this fits perfectly with the ambition of the overall project: 30 % lower energy consumption than required by law, and BREEAM-NL Excellent certification.
