Tim Cook brilliantly explains why Apple chooses China for manufacturing. It's NOT about cheap labor. China hasn't been low-cost for years. So why China? → Skill. → Precision. → Scale. Apple CEO Tim Cook says China can fill "multiple football fields" with expert tooling engineers. America simply can't match that - yet. China built this expertise through decades of industrial planning and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the U.S. prioritized careers in tech and entertainment over vocational training. Tariffs alone won't fix this skill gap. Automation helps - but America (or India) needs infrastructure and training to truly compete. Manufacturing is hard.
