France is cooking in AI 🇫🇷: the French government recently released an AI skill set that helps with complex accounting & tax compliance using specialized agents 😳 While most governments are still drafting AI strategies, France is just shipping. Paperasse is an AI skill set on data dot gouv dot fr that handles accounting + tax compliance through specialized agents. Sounds boring, I know. But it’s really not because the most interesting part here is not about the tool. It’s about the architecture. France is quietly turning government into an API. → Paperasse uses agent-based workflows for real tax + accounting tasks → Built on top of the government’s MCP-style infrastructure (which is better than most tech implementations) → Citizens can plug in AI agents to monitor public spending, not just file taxes → Developed with Yuki Capital, not a Big Tech vendor In simple terms, instead of citizens navigating bureaucracy, AI now navigates it for them.
