This time last year I completed a 2 week teaching placement at St Columba's College, Essendon. I had the fantastic experience of working with Dr Fiona Trapani reliving those high school science and maths classes – now from an educators perspective. Highlights included insights into the inner workings of school systems, observing AI use in teaching and helping direct an eye dissection. Fiona was extraordinary helpful and engaging with her vast knowledge in pedagogical learnings and showed me a new perspective on schooling. A fantastic placement overall
