Yesterday was my last day as a Research and Development intern at Fire & Risk Alliance, LLC for this summer. I am already missing being there! Over the past 13 weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to apply my engineering skills and learn a plethora of new things along side other awesome interns. Some of the highlights of what I learned was about (B)ESS and all that it entails, mainly UL 9540A testing. I also worked on various prototyping projects throughout the summer that helped grow many technical and problem solving skills! None of this would have been possible without the amazing R&D team, Brent Turner, Ryan Hutchens, PE , Lucas Crofton , Damian D. Stefanczyk, PE , Siriwipa Kamma, EIT , Paul Nguyen , Melanie Wilkinson, Jena I., and Connor Bosco! Thank you for all your mentorship and support this summer. Another big thank you to Scott Bryant, P.E. and Noah Ryder, PhD, P.E., MBA for fostering an environment where interns are truly empowered to grow, contribute, and explore their interests. Your leadership has a meaningful impact across the company!!
