LightingEurope supports the proposed Omnibus on #digital simplification package and encourages EU Member States to take appropriate time for discussions on the matter. Together with a broad coalition of European and national associations, we are calling on policymakers to assess the opportunities of the Digital #Omnibus. The Digital Omnibus notably allows to: ✅  Reduce unnecessary regulatory burden ✅  Provide greater legal certainty for #data use ✅  Streamline overlapping #cybersecurity reporting obligations Rushed compromises risk missing the opportunity for meaningful simplification that supports innovation, investment, and growth.
