Measuring cardiac output and stroke volume has long meant invasive catheters, adding risk to patient safety and limiting diagnostic speed. Conventional electronic sensors compound the problem: signal degradation and electromagnetic interference compromise the stability of critical medical data. Amazec Photonics found a way to solve both. Their sensing platform, leveraging benefits of both fiber optics and Photonic Integrated Circuits, detects temperature fluctuations to 0.0001°C — 100 times more precise than the typical current accuracy of 0.01°C — enabling non-invasive cardiovascular monitoring with unprecedented sensitivity.
