Our much-loved $2 Book Clearance Sale was a fantastic success, with book lovers from across Sydney flocking to the Hornsby War Memorial Hall to browse more than 40,000 books, DVDs and CDs. With only a short turnaround following our recent Book Fair in Hunters Hill, our incredible volunteers once again rose to the challenge. The team spent countless hours sorting, categorising and preparing thousands of donated items to ensure everything was ready to go as we welcomed shoppers through the doors. Every purchase made over the weekend helped raise vital funds for Lifeline's crisis support, suicide prevention, and local community services, ensuring we can continue being there for people when they need us most. To everyone who visited, volunteered or supported the Clearance Sale in any way, thank you. Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without you.
