โจAnd the winners are... This year, it was my turn to organize the international life science competition ๐๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต as part of the LISA - Life Science Austria program by Austria Wirtschaftsservice on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism. After many months of competition across two phases - including 189 pre-jury reviews, individual coaching sessions for the finalist teams, and a full day of pitching in front of our esteemed final jury - we finally brought the top-ranked projects to the big stage this week! Heartfelt congratulations to this year's winners: ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ - Alexander Pekarsky, Stefan Kittler ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฆ - Christian Taucher, PhD, Jason Golan ๐๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ถ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต - Hans Maria Heรฟn ๐ Syntropic - Francesca Giovanetti As we also celebrated the 25th anniversary of Best of Biotech, originally initiated by Sonja Hammerschmid, we took a moment to look back at the journey so far. Turns out that many of todayโs successful biotech and medtech companies have crossed paths with โBoBโ at some point along the way. A big thank you to our main sponsors Takeda, Boehringer Ingelheim and Erste Bank und Sparkasse, evaluators, jury members, ticket sponsors, network partners, agency partners and my amazing colleagues who supported me every step of the way! With Florian Frauscher, Gerfried Brunner, Elisabeth Klager, Manfred Rieger, Denisa Alexandra Lazarescu, Stefan Krahulec, Maria Antonietta Impagnatiello, Sabine Hรถnigsberger, Tanja Spennlingwimmer, Maggie Childs, Joachim Rothe, Angelika Dr. Weinlรคnder-Mรถlders, Reinhard Krickl, Michael Wolzt, Georg Kรครคb, Vicki Loise, Anna Weihs, Eva Maria Beck and many more! It was a blast! #BestOfBiotech #BoB2025 ๐ธ vogus - Wolfgang Voglhuber
