Bringing theory and practice together is essential to prepare future engineers for the realities of construction. 🚀 At the end of May, we welcomed around 40 civil engineering students from HTWG Hochschule Konstanz – Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung to our site in Biberach, as part of a hands-on lecture series organized together with ZÜBLIN. The goal: making crane technology and construction processes tangible beyond the classroom. 🎯 Through expert insights, students gained a deeper understanding of how planning, crane technology and on-site operations are interconnected. Dr. Andreas Ziegler and Stefan Brenner (Liebherr) shared perspectives on crane technology, safety, and practical applications, while Leon Büchner (Züblin) contributed the contractor’s view on crane planning. The visit was accompanied by Simon Krolitzki (HTWG Konstanz) and Stefanie Frank (Züblin), strengthening the exchange between academia and industry. A plant tour complemented the lectures, giving students a behind-the-scenes look at production and real-world processes. Experiences like these help create a shared understanding across disciplines and make future career paths in construction more tangible. 👉 How do you bring practical insights into engineering education? #liebherr #towercranes
