Calls for more action and a faster pace of implementation At the „Tag der Bauindustrie“ 2026 (Construction Industry Day) in Berlin, presentations were given on investment and progress in the implementation of infrastructure projects, on support for housing construction, and on the benefits of digitalising construction processes. Where has progress already been made, and where does Germany need to pick up the pace of implementation? The key speakers were Vice-Chancellor and Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil and Germany’s Federal Minister for Construction, Verena Hubertz. For us, one thing is clear: the demand for efficient, cost-effective and innovative construction technology continues to grow. With its solutions for productivity, digitalisation and sustainable construction, the group is positioning itself as a strong partner for implementing construction projects efficiently, safely and in an environmentally responsible manner. At the summer party, the exchange continued in lively discussions – including at the buffet, where one of our mobile excavators served as a special eye-catcher, symbolically underlining the partnership-based support for upcoming construction projects. Our group has been a premium partner of the “Construction Industry Day” for over ten years and showcased three construction machinery exhibits and a mobile battery-based energy storage. #liebherr #TBI26 #premiumpartner #construction #mobileexcavators #mobileenergystorage
