Colombia’s Caribbean gateway just gained reach. A new LHM 600 is now in service at the Port of Cartagena with COMPAS - Compañía de Puertos Asociados Cartagena. As the largest mobile harbour crane operating in Colombia, it offers 61 m of outreach and a lifting capacity of 104 t. Compas Cartagena operates four berths and handles around 250,000 TEU each year. The terminal manages a wide range of cargo, from containers and bulk materials to project cargo and refrigerated goods. The LHM 600 adds flexibility where it matters most. It can move between berths whenever operational requirements change. This allows Compas to respond quickly to different cargo and vessel demands.
